We were driving to back home but we were tired so we decided to stopped at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed at king room with my husband and my daughter and the room is big. The bathroom looks like new. The room was very clean. Perfect room for family of 3. The check in was very easy and fast. They gave us a welcome package with deodorant and some snacks and that was perfect because it was an unplanned stay. 100% recommended!!! We will back when we are at the area.
Rooms are clean service was fantastic got a free king room upgrade and the bag of goodies was a plus!! Beds are very comfortable and the shower was great!!
The rooms are clean and extremely well kept. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a motel. It shows that the owners take great pride and care of their business and want their guest to feel comfortable and rested. I would not hesitate to stay with them again!!!
So I don't really want to leave this review. Only because I don't want this place to become so busy I can't get the amazing price anymore. First I never stay in motels. Second driving up to this place is not inspiring. However, when I walked into my room I was so surprised. It's lovely. I've stayed in 3 star hotels that can't compete. It's super clean. It's updated. The beds are crazy comfortable. There are extra pillows. House keeping actually knocked on the door to ask if we needed anything. I haven't even seen house keeping at other high end hotels in recent years. I'm sorry to say this... The outside looks like a dump. I know harsh. I booked one of their deluxe queen rooms. Biggest tv I've ever had in any room. 65 inch. Wow. Bathroom is a little small. Just need more towel hooks. Your incredibly honest response just got you the 5 stars.
My wife and I visit family in Minneapolis often. We have stayed at several different hotels looking for a safe, clean, quiet, and comfortable place to sleep. Honestly, we were hesitant to try it the first time because it was so much less expensive than others in the area. We have never had a bad experience here. Rooms may be a little small, but we pay a little more to get the double queen room. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, the location is convenient, service is friendly. We have tried other hotels that are closer to Minneapolis, but haven't found anything close to the Royal Inn for the value for your money.
The outside doesn't look like much, but the room was great! Nicely remodeled and very clean. It is definitely a roadside motel, but it was absolutely perfect for my little weekend getaway to the Willow River State Park. The service at the front desk was so friendly, I felt very welcomed. I accidentally locked my key in my room while grabbing my bags and it was replaced with no issues. The location is great too; I got to do some shopping to pass time in the evening and had dinner at a local restaurant. I will definitely be back for my next trip to Willow River!
Don't let the outer shell discourage you. This place is comfortable and a great deal here in Hudson. The beds are super comfortable and the shower is superb. The office manager was very welcoming...even hooked us up with a bag of goodies on house. Highly recommend this place... I'd stay here again for sure!
I've stayed at the Royal Inn for a week straight many times when I've worked in the area. It's kept clean and they service the rooms every day. The rates are reasonable for the area. The location is good too, with many restaurants and stores nearby and two gyms a few blocks away.
